The City maintains it's current ordinances on Municode.com for review and printing.  Once you go there, please click in the right panel that says "Continue to Rock Falls, IL Code of Ordinances - 1990(12186)"

Please feel free to review the ordinances and print out as necessary.

As the City Council works on the business of the City they pass ordinances, or laws, that affect all of the citizens of the City as well as visitors to the City. Because of the limitations of our online partners who post the City Ordinance of the City, recently passed Ordinances are not posted to their site until February of every year.

The City of Rock Falls is divided up into different zones, that determine what types of development can happen in each of those zones.  The map for these zones is available via the link for review. 

NOTE: This zoning map is updated periodically and it listed on the map of the latest date of revision.

Industrial Park Covenants

The Industrial Development Commission has adopted certain working rules for the Industrial park to make it a more uniform business district.  These rules relate to any new construction within the park, and are normally enforced by the Industrial Development Commission and the Building Inspector.
